At the time of inception there were few contractors in the area that could provide such a service. Further there were even fewer that could provide a "Standing Seam Metal" installation service. Thus, a real need was identified. Contractors and Homeowners were looking for a roofing installation contractor that could provide them with a quality installation at a fair price. They also felt the need for a product that could deliver years of maintenance free operation, and just as importantly, a product that could serve their needs as the seasons changed each year. The climate in the Northeast can be very unpredictable, especially during the snowy winter months, and having the proper roof system can make all the difference.
Standing Seam Metal Roofing is the only type of roof that we install. Most of the pre-painted, baked on enamel finishes now carry a Non-Pro-Rated Warranty of 35 years from the manufacturer. Black Ox Roofing Inc. purchases all of it's metal stock directly from Drexel Metals Corp. of Ivyland, PA. We take pride in the fact that their product is American Made.
